Beautiful photo
@grb090423 Thank you! How are you in the storm now?
It's calmed down a bit here, thankfully thank you for asking
It's still not good in Northumberland (I have a sibling there), and I imagine it's even worse in Scotland and Ireland
Has it affected you?
@grb090423 Good to hear that you're ok. No, I'm in Berlin at the moment. But I can't reach my best friend in Ireland who lives very remotely (but knows how to prepare for the weather, so I'm not too worried). Another friend in Sligo has a big fallen tree in her garden, her bird tree in front of the kitchen window, which has also affected a beautifully made dry stone wall, so she's very sad right now. And I'm really worried about a friend who lives alone in a campervan directly at the seaside.
Oh goodness!
Yes, it looks as though Ireland has the worst of it. It's sad about the damage a beautiful tree can do (also the loss of it). It's going to cost quite something to make repairs to the wall
I really hope you are able to contact your friends, especially the one in the campervan, and that they're safe and well
@grb090423 Thank you!
@MarianneEggink Yes, isn't it? I'm happy that you've found my swans!
@theappletree So beautiful - the swans, the light, the photo
@CiaraNi Thank you! It's part of a series that I took last year in March. I was on my bicycle for an evening ride after work, and I remember that I couldn't stop shooting because of the magical light. Have a wonderful Sunday!
@theappletree You captured it beautifully. A lovely sight. And thanks - I hope you have a lovely Sunday too :-)
@CiaraNi Thank you!
