Ich wollte schon immer #schreiben, schon als kleines Mädchen. Ich habe die Geschichten von Astrid Lindgren und Michael Ende geliebt und mochte immer das Phantastische in unserer Welt. Auch der #Erlkönig von #Goethe hat mich schon früh fasziniert.

In diese Richtung ging dann später "Die Nebel von Avalon" von Marion Zimmer Bradley, ein Buch, das #Historie, #Mythos und #Phantastik auf einzigartige Weise miteinander verknüpft - so etwas lese ich gern und einige Ideen daraus fließen durchaus auch in mein #Romanprojekt #georgeunddeborah ein - z.B. ist meine Zwischenwelt "Veldimur" stark an die Nebel um Avalon angelegt.

Ich liebe auch den packenden Schreibstil von Stephen King, den ich besonders in jungen Jahren viel gelesen habe. Beeindruckt hat mich auch die Buchreihe der #RavenBoys von Maggie Stiefvater, die ebenfalls Phantastik und Realität verknüpft und einen sehr berührenden Schreibstil hat. Außerdem natürlich #Tolkien.

Ich mag aber auch Autoren wie Joey Goebel, der mit seinem bissig-satirischen Stil und seinen absurden Charakteren den amerikanischen Lifestyle und Kapitalismus aufs Korn nimmt ("Vincent"! "Commonwealth"). Nicht, dass ich dieses Niveau erreichen würde, aber meine #bethlenwölfe sind ein etwas anderes #Werwolfrudel in den 1980er Jahren - eine Hommage an die 80er-Popkultur verknüpft mit Werwolfseifenoper jenseits von Alphawolfklischees - und durchaus inspiriert von Goebel oder Tom Robbins ("Panaroma").

Aber was genau bedeutet nun #Vorbild für mich? Eifere ich den Geschichten dieser Leute nach? Deren Leben? Ich weiß nicht. In mir ist einfach der Wunsch, meine Geschichten zu schreiben und ich freue mich, wenn andere sie gerne lesen. Je weiter ich diesen Weg gehe, desto mehr komme ich zu dem Schluss: All ihre Geschichten haben einen Einfluss auf mich und mein Schreiben, aber mein Weg ist dennoch mein eigener. ❤️

Das war interessant + amüsant zu lesen, ein flotter Rückblick auf die #KI-#Historie bis 1984 und ein Ausblick von dort auf das, was noch kommen mag. Aus heutiger Sicht z.T. banal. Mit dem heutigen Wissen nickt man manchmal heftig und schüttelt manchmal genauso heftig den Kopf 😄 Spannend ist, das manche Fragen über die Jahrzehnte doch gleich geblieben sind. Wir wissen viel, aber bis zur Erkenntnis, was (künstliche) #Intelligenz wirklichausmacht, scheint es immer noch weit.

Die Deutsche Geschichte ist wahnsinnig vielfältig. Von den Kelten bis hin zu kleinen Königreichen, Großmächten .. und Gräueltaten. Wir sehen die Zeugnisse dieser Geschichte tagtäglich in unseren Städten und in der Landschaft um uns herum. #GoogleEarth ist cool.
In dieser Gegend soll mal irgendwo vor 800 Jahren eine #Burg (Turmhügelburg, also Hügel aufschütten Turm draufstellen und Palisaden drumherum.) gestanden haben. Aber wo genau?

Bild 2: Selbes Bild aus früherem Jahr (Zeitleiste). Da hatte ich schon eine Ahnung.
Bild 3: Rausgezoomt, damit der Kontrast sich erhöht. Verdacht erhärtet sich.
Bild 4: Nochmal früheres Jahr zeigt den Standort dann schon sehr deutlich. Und er ist korrekt.
