It would be really nice if @phosh added a pocket detection feature using the proximity sensor. I disabled the PIN login but now it seems to randomly unlock and respond to garbage input in my pocket. I'm not sure what is causing it to randomly wake either, but checking the proximity sensor before allowing a swipe unlock seems like a good idea.

Tried the #OnePlus 6T camera in #OBS and it works! Cannot select resolution and the default is pretty small and zoomed in, but frame rate is smooth. Might be another way to record video with #postmarketOS!
Front camera is still very purple. Unfortunately, having two Pipewire sources active simultaneously (to see both cameras at once) does not seem to work. They both just freeze.

@surfhosting I would really recommend #oneplus for Androids. I have a rather budget one that was about 150 when I bought it as an unlocked version new.
It has a much better camera than anything else at a similar price, and looking over their cheaper phones, it seems to have much the same features and a decent camera too.
It's what I do everything on currently. Accidentally bought the best phone I could have on a budget to do video editing and recording.
Great mic too.
I'm impressed with the #GNOME #Snapshot app. Built in QR code scanner is fast and detected even blurry codes. The stock #OnePlus 6/6T camera app on Android doesn't scan codes at all. This was a big lacking area in #LinuxMobile as QR codes are everywhere and everyone expects you to be able to scan them but #postmarketOS was unable to do so until the recent camera bringup, at least for the OnePlus 6T.

On a scale from one to "Oh my gods, get an upgrade this instant?!", how bad is it, security -wise to still be on #Android 11 when Android 16 releases? Anything else to keep in mind?
Trying to gauge if I should get a newer phone or if a battery upgrade for the old one (a #OnePlus 6T from a few months after release) will do.
