Back to #Wayland and input methods.

What's your favorite input method?

Cause for me it was the one on old #Nokia phones. I could type with my hands in my pockets! Handy in winter.

Tested with #cosmic and #GTK .

This is just the beginning. Actually useful stuff is coming in the future. #Mobile keyboards, #Chinese input is what it's for:

@midtsveen Not a gamer, but I’ve been quite happy with #UltramarineLinux, a Fedora variant with easier defaults and added repos. It runs great on my pile of 2015 and older Mac & PC laptops, and my 2014 iMac.

Lately I’ve been toying with #TuxedoOS (Debian) on my iMac, and I’m surprised at the boost in speed! Tuxedo doesn’t work on all of my old laptops (expected), but once KDE 6 arrives on a Debian distro, I’m definitely trying it out (if #COSMIC doesn’t lure me away first).

Fortgeführter Thread

I've been using the COSMIC desktop on my desktop system for 3 weeks now—for work and personal activities. It's going well. It's not without its rough edges, but that's to be expected for an alpha. My main concern was stability, specifically of the session, because if that fails it'll take out everything. I'm happy to report that I've not had any issues like that.

... Work never stops

In my spare time, I have been hard at work on a script that will be combining all DE install scripts into one, with exception of #Cosmic which will remain standalone for now. Instead I added #XFCE.

Once testing is complete, will update the Wiki with new instructions.

P.S : No, there are no plans to create an XFCE spin of the Distro.
