#Episodic memory, IMO is about a single event, but can become unmoored from a specific #spatiotemporal #context when repeatedly retrieved. The same is true about many statistical learning or associative inference paradigms which are about chains of associations.
#Semantic memory IMO is about out of domain generalization. So a blurry memory of a visit to Paris is not the same is making an inference (wrong or right) that all or most French cities feature art museums, boulangeries, and cafes. 2/2
