Windows 11 build 26100.3902 breaks the recovery environment
A new Windows Insider build has been released for Windows 11 build 26100.3902 under the knowledge base number KB5055627. It introduced some new features, such as seamless access to your connected phone right from your PC using the Phone Link feature. It also brought the controversial Microsoft Recall feature, which was infamous due to privacy concerns.
At the end of the changelogs from the official release announcement, there is only one known issue. Unfortunately, it’s a major issue revolving around the recovery environment, the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). The official blog says:
After installing this update, Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) may not work, and you may not be able to use the “Fix problems using Windows Update” option under Settings > Recovery. These issues will be fixed in another update soon.
WinRE is a separate environment from the full Windows installation that allows you to recover your computer from system failures using various tools, such as the command prompt and an option to restore your PC to an earlier point. As described earlier, you may not be able to use the “Fix problems using Windows Update” option, should your computer experience problems.
Microsoft has, however, promised that they’re going to fix the issues soon.

So, considering the below article, how big of a security risk do folks suspect a system that takes screenshots of your computer screen every three seconds, archives them, and then feeds them all into an AI might be? 
Auf der Arbeit muss ich leider #Windows11 nutzen, bis auf Tabs im #WindowsExplorer sind mir kaum Verbesserungen aufgefallen. Und die generelle Performance ist einfach erbärmlich. Das Zwangs-Upgrade ist insgesamt einfach ne Frechheit. Meine Schwester konnte ich überzeugen auf #Manjaro umzusteigen, bis auf anfängliches Fremdeln mit #Gimp, kaum Beschwerden 
Dank #AUR bekommt man für so gut wie jeden Drucker Treiber, Manjaro macht einen soliden Eindruck
Frage zu einer Installation von #Windows11: Systemsteuerung System Info sagt #242H2, Updateverlauf Funktionsupdates sagt als letztes 23H2.
Soll das so?
Browsen ist immer mal wieder nicht möglich. Kann man eigentlich so nicht mit arbeiten, wenn das www benötigt wird. Das Notebook von HP lief anfangs zuverlässig mit Win11.
Ideen?
Neuer Versuch mit #Windows11 und dem #24H2 Update.
Nur noch Maus und Tastatur angeschlossen. Wenn es jetzt auch wieder scheitert, dass ist das die zusätzliche Soundkarte die damit nicht klar kommt.

Zu Ostern hat #Nvidia einen neuen #GeForce-#Treiber für seine #RTX-#Grafikkarten veröffentlicht. Der soll vor allem die #Blackscreen-#Probleme beheben. Die Möglichkeit #Windows11 mit #rufus auf ältere Laptops ohne Microsoft-Kontozwang zu installieren hat mich leider schwach werden lassen: #Linux #Mint fliegt vorerst wieder von der Festplatte. Obwohl es anstandslos lief. Ich brauche wohl noch etwas Zeit um das richtige zu tun.

@SecurityWriter and I can raise this with #Windows11 thinking that it is OK to scale back down to 5% of the CPU total performance for fun and make the whole device unusable for 10 minutes until the OS finally processes all the queued instructions and get the one instruction meant to increase the CPU speed again.
I need to set a fix CPU performance profile to have a usable device.
Even Vista was better!
